Welcome to the Fly Shop

This page lists a few quality online suppliers of fly fishing and fly tying books, equipment and supplies and gifts that I have researched and partnered with. I have separated them into 3 groups to make navigation a little simpler. While I cannot control the order process of any of these merchants, I have personally purchased from them and I have selected them because I believe they carry quality merchandise and offer great service. If you cannot find what you're looking for at these shops below, there's a good chance it doesn't exist.

I have also researched and put together a list of what I believe to be some of the more popular books on fly fishing and fly tying for trout and you can see the list of books here.

Flies

Blue Fly Cafe - Located in Eagle, ID, they began in 1999 as Absolutebest Fly Company selling to wholesalers. They've since restructured to sell directly to consumers as Blue Fly Cafe. The owner, Michael Moseley, is very committed to quality and in his words, "You have my personal guarantee that if you are not satisfied we will make it right!"

Fly Fishing/Tying Equipment, Materials and Supplies

Cabela's - a personal favorite of mine. It was started in 1961 as a "kitchen table" dream in 1961 by the Cabela family and has since grown to become the World's Foremost Outfitter. They have a huge selection of fly fishing equipment from numerous manufacturers. Despite the accolades and growth, Cabela's continues to embrace the original philosophy that the customer is No. 1 - a philosophy instilled by company founders Jim and Dick Cabela. This dedication to the customer is just one of many reasons Cabela's is what the family always knew it could be - a dream come true.

Orvis - Orvis is all about quality and satisfaction. The Orvis 100% Satisfaction Guarantee: For over 100 years, we have offered the strongest return policy in the business. We will refund your money on any purchase that isn't 100% satisfactory. Anytime, for any reason. It's that simple.

FishUSA.com - located in Erie, PA, FishUSA.com also operates a 'brick and morder' tackle store. "We are focused solely on fishing and strive to be the best online tackle shop. Our guiding principal is and always has been that customer service and satisfaction are paramount. To fulfill that objective, FishUSA strives to provide quality products, the best sustainable prices, fast delivery, fair shipping charges, product support by knowledgeable staff and responsiveness to the needs of our customers."

Yager's Flies - Located in Lawrence, Kansas, they stock over 500 patterns of flies and offer a full line of fly fishing and fly tying equipment and are always expanding their selection and they offer a 30 day 100% money back, satisfaction guarantee.
